Exact product identity
Inventory belongs to the concrete product or variation that can physically be received, stored, picked, labeled, packed, and shipped. Variable parent products are not treated as physical inventory units.
Receiving lineage
Incoming goods are connected to supplier identity, purchase-order context, warehouse destination, product variation, quantity, and the appropriate lot or batch record.
- Supplier and purchase-order lineage
- Persistent warehouse identity
- Quantity and warehouse records
- Lot, batch, and relevant date fields
Readiness and controlled release
When a product category uses COAs or other supporting documents, ForgeOS is designed to keep documentation state connected to the corresponding product and lot. Inventory can remain unavailable while required business readiness steps are incomplete.
Fulfillment lineage
Picking, labeling, packing, shipping, and completion preserve the store, order, product, inventory, and shipment relationship needed for operational review.
